Please join the East Central European Center and the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York for a presentation by Dr. Marina Cap-Bun professor at Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania, and a musical performance/lamentation by Romanian folk artist Ludovica Muresan. Dr. Marina Cap-Bun is a professor at Ovidius University of ConstanĊ£a, Romania, where she teaches Romanian Culture and Civilization, Romanian Studies in European Perspectives, The Great Classics of Romanian Literature, Fantastic Literature, The Poetics of the Absurd Theatre. During the academic year 2001-2002 she was Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar at University of Washington, Seattle, where she taught Romanian Language and Civilization and The Fantastic and the Absurd in World Literature, and a Guest Lecturer at Indiana University, where she also teaches Romanian Language and Literature for the summer workshops of SWEESEL (2009, 2011, 2012). She has authored a number of books.
