Please join us on November 3rd at the Maison Francaise for an exciting event among distinguished academics and professionals regarding the current populist movement in Europe. We are thrilled to host Pippa Norris (McGuire Lecturer in Comparative Politics at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard), Jan Kubik (Professor and Director of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London) and discussant Sheri Berman (Professor of Political Science at Barnard College). The moderator will be Alan Timberlake, Director of the East Central European Center at Columbia University. Co-Sponsors include East Central European Center, Maison Francaise, Heyman Center for Humanities and the EU’s Getting to Know Europe Program.
